Abstract
Biodiversity ensures the existence of human life on the planet. Countries must formulate the formulation as goals and strategies are through public policies and strategies sign through public policies. The objective of the article is to describe an action drawn from the debate around sociobiodiversity as an anti-environmental crisis. The article presents a case study of the ArticulaFito project in the Mãe Maria Indigenous Land, in Pará, on the Amazon nut value chain and the Gavião people. The chestnut is categorized as endangered due to its population decline. The sustainable strengthening of the chains of products and services generated from sociobiodiversity resources makes it possible to integrate conservation and use of ecosystems, valuing traditional knowledge. The productive inclusion of traditional communities adds socio-environmental value to these production chains and promotes benefit sharing.
