The everyday life in the face of the threshold experience

Abstract

This article discusses the reclaiming of the threshold experiences in daily life, understanding this kind of experience as a zone of transition between one state and another, according to Walter Benjamin. We turn to think about what is left of those moments of passage for the subject of the crowd, that anybody who becomes everybody, to use the words of Deleuze and Guattari. From that, we consider the possibility of a sharper look at the everyday life and a way of thinking that takes the temporality of the threshold as a model: to think slowly and through detours, a thinking involved by a time of waiting and of childhood.
