Virtual love and parallel universes

We have seen, today, many researches focusing how the computing advances can interfere inside the personal relationships. If, in one hand, we have the benefits trom the endless possibilities of access and contact with "others worlds", in the other hand, we are facing our new behaviour over these "others worlds". In order to ilIustrate that idea, we have a clínica I report in which the patient, a young lady, twenty seven years oki, married for eight years, has been living for about one year a "virtual relationship", by internet. This process has been absorbing her completely. She feels very far trom her husband, since she is isolated in her parallel world, in which she has a new identity related to all levels. That new identity is entirely the opposite from her real life. The impossibility to feel accomplished either in her everyday lífe or in her virtual parallel universe broke out a severe pracess of depression. That clínic example leaded us to discuss the following aspects: (1) virtual experiences by internet and the parallel universes that was mentioned by Hugh Everett, a North American physicist; (2) the question of female ethics; (3) the group experiences that was mobilized by that patient.

relationship by internet; graup process; virtual love; marriage relationship
