ABSTRACT
The following article’s goal was to retake Anísio Teixeira from the articulation between education and democracy, essential to the democratic State of law, to strengthen and consolidate the still young and frail Brazilian democracy and to the – still in course – implantation process of its national education system. Guided by the Anísio Teixeira’s proposition educate to democracy, the text has as temporal and thematic cutout measures intending to reconfigurate the educational field, focusing on systemic perspective, implemented since the promulgation of the Federal Constitution in 1988.
