Atenção Básica em Saúde em um cenário de vulnerabilidade: produção de saúde e governança informal do tráfico

ABSTRACT

This study aims to understand a relationship between health production and parallel governance of drug trafficking in Primary Health Care (ABS), from an ethnography in a peripheral Health Unit, in a medium-sized municipality in the state of São Paulo. Data were collected through Field Diary and open interviews with different interlocutors of the territory. An analysis of the data passed through the organization, management and classification of the collected material. The results indicate that in the absence or insufficiency of the state, trafficking may function as a provider of support and protection mechanisms, mediation and management of the population’s family relationships, including their relationship with health equipment.
