SUMMARY This study includes three serial experiments conducted to verify the reliability of a dose redution of prostaglandin in estrus synchronization of ewes through vaginal submucous. The results indicated that it is possible a reduction to one third ofthe usual dosis. In estrus synchronization systems of nine days, the best results were obtained with prostaglandin injections done in the sixth day.
