SUMMARY The echographic characteristics of some abnormal conditions of the reproductive tract frequently diagnosed in thoroughbred mares like ovarian haematomas and tumours, endometrial cysts, intrauterine fluid and haematoma of the uterine wall were described for educational purposes.
