Women labor rights: from protection to promotion

The Constitution of 1988 represents a paradigm shift of Labour Laws that previously protected women only in their homes, and nowadays intend to guarantee the possibility of regular jobs. The article shows the patriarchal ideology that presided the laws before the 80's and stresses the historical victory that this break represented. The idea is to promote consciousness about this victory, that it be remembered and continue to provide new advances in the social and legal condition of women.
