Accuracy is an essential characteristic of quality information. And the summary is the main resource for organizational information. The summarty provides the researchers with a quick understanding of information, improves the levels of access and utilization of collections of corporative information. The research evaluated the capability of software for automatic generation of summaries, for selection of units of text which express the central ideas in extensive textual information. Therefrom, summaries have been generated for a widely known article. Together with the author's original summary, they were refereed by twenty expert ressearchers. Human authors present higher quality summaries, but the quality level of summaries created by the new generations of software summarizers enables them to be considered as important tools for the centers of organizational information that have to add aggregate values to their information collections.
