The Information Society must become a Learning Society. The new technologies of information and communication play, more and more, an active role in the configuration of cognitive ecologies. They facilitate complex and cooperative learning experiences. Hypertext is not just a technique. It's a kind of epistemological metaphor of interactivity. Networking and connectivity may open our minds for solidary sensitivity. The Information Society requires transversal thinking and transdisciplinary research and learning projects.
