LABOR OUTSOURCING IN ARGENTINA: recent contributions to the debate on its conceptualization and empirical analysis

This article synthesizes contributions for a conceptualization of the phenomenon of labor outsourcing, built from the analysis of the Argentine case in dialogue with international contributions and previous publications. At the same time, it includes a review of some of the key methodological approaches developed in recent years in Argentina that have managed to face the difficulties of accessing official information on the phenomenon and its scope. These collective and individual contributions have allowed quantitative and qualitative analysis of the various types of outsourcing in the Argentine case, including activities and various sectors of the private and public spheres. The article underlines the importance of the articulation of contributions from various disciplines, the confluence in collective work processes, and the articulation with protagonists and subjects of this story whose contributions are crucial to account for an understanding of these dynamics of enormous complexity.
