This paper seeks to analyze the experience of Non-Formal Education (in portuguese, ENF) lived by a group of youths of the Plataforma neighborhood, suburb of the city of Salvador. The option for the suburb of a great urban center comes from studies according to which it is especially in those places that the absence of the State is more evidenced in the area of the public policies and where most of the socially and culturally underprivileged young population lives. In those "forgotten" spaces, the youths live and face different prejudices that directly affect their process of social and profissional insertion.
