ABSTRACT
The purpose of the interview is to analyze the conceptions of quality and evaluation of education in disputed, signaling dimensions, tensions and possible consequences in the training and teaching-learning process. The interviewee considers as an analytical axis the propositions of education, quality and evaluation from the perspective of social rights and signals criticalpropositional perspectives for the field. The interview addresses conceptions of evaluation and quality after 1990 and the changes in education public policies in the Temer and Bolsonaro governments.
