ALDEBARO KLAUTAU AND THE MATHEMATICS PROGRAM OF THE NORMAL SCHOOL OF BELÉM (PARÁ) IN 1932

ABSTRACT

In this article, it is characterized the expertise of Aldebaro Klautau aboutthe mathematical knowledge of the primary school (arithmetic, geometry, and drawing) in the mathematics program of the Normal School of Belém during the period when he worked there. When analyzing the contents of the documents in the archives of the school, the concepts of expert, expertise, and professional teaching knowledge were taken into consideration, in order to reflect on the importance of the connections between planning, methodologies, and teaching program, in the approach of teaching knowledge related to mathematics for the primary school teacher’s formation.
