The objective of this study was to introduce new cultivars of Capsicum frutescens L. (pepper) with resistance to anthracnose. 'UNEMAT Pedro' is characterized by its red fruits, while 'UNEMAT Malagueta Pantaneira' is hybrid with orange‒red fruits. Both cultivars exhibit a semi-perennial growth cycle, a pungent fruit flavour, and high productivity.
