Sixteen goats males, eigth exotic (4 from the breed Boer and 4 from the Anglo-Nubiana) and eigth naturalized (4 from the race Moxotó and 4 from the Brown-Pardo-Sertaneja), all pure and one year old. The animals from the breed Boer ahown a higher tolerance to the heat in relation to the others breed that shown higl tolerance. The breeds Boer and Anglo-Nubiana, despite of exotic, shown temperatures, frequencys and index of tolerance to the heat that should be considered as adapted to the demi-dry climate of the Brazilian northeast.
