CURVAS DE MATURAÇÃO E ESTIMATIVA DO TEOR DE SÓLIDOS SOLÚVEIS PARA A VIDEIRA 'NIAGARA ROSADA' COM BASE EM DADOS METEOROLÓGICOS

Curves of `Niagara Rosada' grape soluble solids levels were described for different pruning dates, during the growing seasons of 1991 to 1993. Studies on regression analysis using meteorological data to estimate field sugar (Y) levels were done. The regression equation of best fit was Y = -13.2 + 0.0137 X1 + 0.0066 X3, where X1 is the accumulated degree-days (base temperature:10oC) and X3 is the accumulated daily rainfall starting both from the pruning date up to the sampling date of Y.
