The relative efficiency of limestones was calculated with data of CaO and MgO contents and of particle size distribution determined with sieves 10 and 50 (U.S.B.S.). The results of the 25 samples analysed varied between 52.3 and 93.8% CaCO3 equivalent, with an average of 66.9%.
