In this paper the authors present the study of the "Monjolinho" earth dam watershed with particular reference of its silting problem. The physical characteristics of the watershed, based on a plane - altimetric survey, are presented. A description of the soil type, vegetative cover, as well as of the changes that took place in the reservoir flood and in the upstream side slope after 7 years of use is given.
