We worked with 6 tortoises, 3 females and 3 males of the species Geochelone carbonaria, in order to describe the main arteries, which vascularize the organs of the coelomic cavity. We observed that the left aorta lengthen three main branches in order to irrigate the organs of the animal's cranial area, before it joins the right aorta to form the dorsal aorta, which is in charge of the nutrition of the caudal area of the animal, through several branches coming irregularly in quantity and origin.
