Rubem Campos Grilo, a native of Pouso Alegre, Minas Gerais, was born in 1946. Since the early 1970s, he has dedicated himself to woodcut. Today, Rubem Grilo is one of Brazil’s foremost artists, and a master printmaker. This in-depth interview was conducted by Oto Reifschneider in the morning of April 20th, 2012, at his home in Rio de Janeiro.
