Abstract
This essay aims to conduct a critical reading of the book A reflexão da literatura: ensaios sobre literatura francesa, by Edson Rosa da Silva, which will enable the apprehension of what we could understand as the theoretical-critical method that would have guided the author's work throughout his career.
