RABIES IN A SWINE FROM MATO GROSSO STATE, BRAZIL - REPORT OF A BOVINE INFECTION ON THE SAME FARM

ABSTRACT

Rabies is an important zoonosis that affects animals and humans, causing agonizing neurological disease invariably leading to death. The present manuscript reports a rabies infection in swine and bovine from the same farm. Clinical and laboratory data are shown. This paper describes, for the first time, rabies infection in swine from Mato Grosso State, Brazil.
