Abstract:
This work proposes to investigate the place occupied by money in the psychic economy from a Freud’s drive theory. It is a research with bibliographic methodology and interpretive reading in the psychoanalytic perspective. It is concluded that money is constituted as an object of the Freud’s drive theory with a structuring injunction on the psyche, establishing itself as a cipher of the subject’s own constitution.
