SUMMARY
The authors evaluate the life table analysis of 62 patients with large choroidal melanoma. A mong these, 29 were submitted only to enucleation. In the remaining 33 the externai beam radiation therapy (2.000 cGy) was employed previously to the enucleation. The survival analysis showed a better statistically significanrt result in the group submitted exclusively to enucleation.
