Extraocular retinoblastoma: study of 37 cases

SUMMARY

It’s made a review of the patients with extraocular retinoblastoma assisted on Hospital do Cancer de Pernambuco in the last fifteen years.

They represented 80.4% of all retinoblastoma patients assisted. 35.2% was stage V. The age at diagnosis was usually three years dol, and the most common sign was leucocoria 48.6% of the patients died. It’s discussed the staging influence on the prognosis.
