SUMMARY
This study retrospectively analysed one hundred patients (133 eyes) which underwent filtering surgery. Encapsulated bled incidence was 14.3%. Bilateral cases were present in 18.8% of the patients with encapsulated bleb. The mean time of development of encapsulated bleb was 20.1 ± 7.2 days. There was no statistical difference between patients with or without encapsulated bleb regarding to sex, diagnosis, age, race or previous surgery.
