During an inventory undertaken at the Lake Piratuba Biological Reserve, Amapá state, two Uredinales species, Atelocauda incrustans Arthur & Cummins and Chaconia alutacea Juel, were found and reported for the first time in Brazil. The genus Atelocauda is recorded for the first time in South America.
