Thirty five species of mosses and 27 species of liverworts are reported as new recorde for Roraima State. The mosses are distributed among 23 genera and 11 families, and the liverworts for 21 genera and eight families. Geographical distribution in Brazil, type locality, basionym, comments on substrates, and the most important characters for identification are presented for each species. Odontolejeunea lunulata(Web.) Schiffn., Sphagnum erythrocalyx Hampe, Taxithellum planum (Brid.) Mitt, and Thuidium urceolatum Lor. were already known to Roraima State. Cololejeunea minutissima (Smith) Schiffn. and Mlcrolejeunea ulicina (Tayl.) Tayl. ex G., L & Nees are cited for the first time from Brazil.
