Summary
Miscellaneous ethnobotanical observations on several little know or unusual aboriginal food plants of the nortwestern Amazon of Brasil and Colombia are discussed. The plants considered belong to the genera Erythroxylon, Hevea, Maranta, Micrandra, Pourouma, Pouteria and Vaupesia.
