Abstract Introduction the Covid-19 pandemic impacted elderly persons with Parkinson’s Disease (PD), influencing their daily activities and quality of life. Objective to evaluate the impact on the oral health in people with Parkinson’s Disease during the Covid-19 isolation. Material and method the present analytical, quantitative, cross-sectional study uses secondary data sources from 115 health records used in a study carried out from August to December in 2020 through telemonitoring. Sociodemographic aspects and self-perception of quality of life were evaluated using the Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-14) questionnaire. The variables studied in the association were: sex, age, duration of PD, civil status, Covid-19 diagnosis and the use of dental prostheses. The software Statistica 13.2 and the Chi-square (X2) test with a significance level of p<0.05 were used. Result after analyzing the database, the final sample consisted of 64 health records that responded to the OHIP-14. 61% were male, with a mean age of 66.6 years, 64% were using dental prostheses, and 74% indicated on the OHIP-14 that they had good oral health self-perception. No significant associations were found among the variables: Age, Sex, Civil Status, Covid diagnosis, Duration of illness, Use of dental prostheses and the OHIP-14 (p>0.05). Conclusion it was found that people with Parkinson’s Disease showed a good quality of life, as evaluated using the OHIP-14, and that the Covid-19 isolation did not impact negatively on the oral health.

Resumo Introdução a pandemia da Covid-19 impactou idosos que possuem a doença de Parkinson (DP), influenciando nas suas atividades de vida diária e qualidade de vida. Objetivo avaliar o impacto da saúde bucal em pessoas com doença de Parkinson durante o isolamento da Covid-19. Material e método trata-se de um estudo analítico, quantitativo e de corte transversal, com fontes de dados secundários de 115 prontuários de uma pesquisa que foi realizada no ano de 2020, no período de agosto a dezembro, por meio de telemonitoramento. Avaliou-se os aspectos sociodemográfico e a autopercepção da qualidade de vida utilizando o questionário Perfil de Impacto na Saúde Oral (OHIP-14). As variáveis estudadas na associação foram: sexo, idade, tempo da DP, estado civil, diagnóstico de Covid-19 e uso de prótese dentária. Foi utilizado o software Statistica 13.2 e o teste do Qui-quadrado (X2) com nível de significância de p<0,05. Resultado após análise do banco de dados a amostra final constou com 64 prontuários que responderam o OHIP-14. 61% foram do sexo masculino com média de idade de 66,6 anos, 64% faziam uso de prótese dentária, e 74% indicaram ter uma boa autopercepção da sua saúde bucal pelo OHIP-14. Não foram encontradas associações significativas entre as variáveis: Idade; Sexo; Estado Civil; Diagnóstico de Covid; Tempo de doença; Uso de prótese dentária e o OHIP-14 (p>0,05). Conclusão verificou-se que pessoas com Parkinson apresentaram uma boa qualidade de vida avaliado pelo OHIP-14 e que o isolamento da Covid-19 não impactou negativamente na saúde bucal.

ABSTRACT Background: The Amazon rainforest plays an essential role in sheltering global biodiversity and providing essential ecosystem services. However, the region has been threatened by increased rates of deforestation and degradation, which is often reported as the failure of the Brazilian conservation policy that could affect the image of agriculture Brazilian products abroad. In this sense, here we aimed to evaluate the foreign environmental perception of the region using data from social medias, to assess which are the main terms related to the region, how their importance varies over time and whether this perception tends to be more negative or positive. For this, we used data from posts made on Twitter® involving the term “Amazon rainforest” over 18 weeks using a data mining process. From these posts, we extracted the text, which went through steps of cleaning and organization, as well as crossing with additional databases (such as the sentiment dictionary). From the final data set, we first evaluated which are the main terms present in these posts and how their importance varied in the evaluated period. Next, we assess whether the terms cited are mainly negative or positive and how this sentiment varied over the monitoring period. Results: We found that the main terms are related to the environmental context such as “carbon”, “deforestation” and “fire” and that there is a relationship between their importance and the occurrence of fires in the region, which is positive with a temporal lag. In addition, we also found that the posts are, on average, composed of 68.47% of negative terms and that this sentiment predominates throughout the entire time series, being higher during the fire peaks in the region. Conclusion: Our results indicate that the environmental perception of the region presented in the posts in Twitter® is mainly negative, due to the degradation and fires observed over the last few years. We also discuss limitations of the approach and establish perspectives for future work.

RESUMO. Mudanças em traços de personalidade em pacientes com doença de Alzheimer (DA) são extremamente comuns ao longo do curso da referida patologia, e essas alterações comportamentais apresentam-se como desafios no manejo clínico e como causa significativa de esgotamento dos cuidadores. Objetivo: Por meio de um inventário de personalidade baseado nos cinco fatores de personalidade, este estudo avalia a mudança nos escores desses fatores comparando a personalidade pré-mórbida e a atual dos indivíduos com DA. Métodos: O total de 30 pacientes com DA foi recrutado, e seus familiares responderam ao inventário de personalidade. Os pacientes também foram divididos em dois grupos conforme a avaliação clínica da demência: demência leve (CDR1) e demência moderada (CDR2). Resultados: Em todos os pacientes, houve aumento significativo nos escores do fator neuroticismo e decréscimos significativos nos fatores extroversão, realização, abertura e socialização. Quando feita a comparação entre grupos, apenas o fator extroversão apresentou diferença, com o grupo CDR 1 mostrando maiores mudanças nos escores. Os níveis do fator neuroticismo da personalidade pré-mórbida correlacionaram-se com a gravidade da doença no momento do diagnóstico. Conclusões: Este estudo procura esclarecer aos familiares e profissionais de saúde que mudanças em traços de personalidade de seus parentes ou pacientes podem refletir processos neurodegenerativos subjacentes.

ABSTRACT. Changes in personality traits in patients with Alzheimer's disease (AD) are extremely common throughout the course of the pathology, and these behavioral changes present themselves as challenges in clinical management and as a significant cause of caregivers’ burden. Objective: Using a personality inventory based on the five-factor model of personality, this study aimed to assesses the change in these factors by comparing the premorbid and current personality of individuals recently diagnosed with AD. Methods: A total of 30 AD patients were recruited, and their respective family members responded to the personality inventory at home through a hosted site. The patients were also divided into two groups according to the Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR): mild dementia (CDR 1) and moderate dementia (CDR 2). Results: Among all patients, there was a significant increase in neuroticism factor levels and a significant decrease in the extraversion, conscientiousness, openness, and socialization factors. When comparing the groups, only the extraversion factor showed a difference, with CDR 1 group accusing a higher change in scores. Higher scores in the factor neuroticism in the premorbid personality correlated with the current severity of the disease. Conclusions: This research draws the attention of family members and health professionals to changes in personality traits or behavior of relatives or patients, because it can reflect an underlying neurodegenerative process.

Abstract Angular leaf spot (ALS), caused by the fungus Pseudocercospora griseola, is one of the most important foliar fungal diseases in common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). The search for new sources of resistance to ALS is a promising activity in common bean breeding programs. In this study, the reaction of 416 germplasm accessions from the Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) to P. griseola (race 63-63, the most important and most aggressive race) was assessed under greenhouse conditions (plants in the V2 stage, fully developed unifoliolate leaves). We identified 102 (24.5%) resistant and 314 (75.5%) susceptible accessions. Among the resistant lines, more than half are Carioca grain type lines. This study characterizes the resistance of a wide collection of common bean genotypes. The identification of new accessions resistant to P. griseola is an important step in common bean breeding programs. These lines can continually be incorporated in backcrosses to obtain cultivars resistant to ALS.

BACKGROUND The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has affected the maritime sector due to virus transmission onboard and traffic restrictions. However, reports of SARS-CoV-2 transmission on board have been mostly restricted to those occurring on cruise ships. OBJECTIVES To report COVID-19 outbreaks in eight non-cruise vessels and discuss measures to prevent and control the onboard transmission of SARS-CoV-2. METHODS We investigated outbreaks of COVID-19 on vessels anchoring in Baía de Todos-os-Santos, Salvador, Brazil, between February and November 2021. FINDINGS Most vessels were cargo ships that had docked several times before anchoring in Salvador (five had docked in ≥ 9 ports). The crew ranged from 22 to 63 members. The infection attack rate on each vessel ranged from 9.7 to 88.9%. The risk of symptomatic infection largely varied among the crew of each vessel (0 to 91.6%). Overall, the risk of developing COVID-19 signs and symptoms was lower among crew members vaccinated (age-adjusted risk ratio: 0.19; 95% confidence interval 0.06-0.65). SARS-CoV-2 variants not previously identified in Salvador were detected (C.14, B.1.617.2 and B.1.351). MAIN CONCLUSIONS Despite maritime guidelines to avert COVID-19 on board, outbreaks have happened. The multiple stopovers of non-cruise vessels during their routes may contribute to the spread of SARS-CoV-2 variants worldwide. Reducing the onboard transmission of SARS-CoV-2 depends on joint efforts by the crew and local health authorities and, equally important, achieving high vaccination coverage to prevent infections and illness.

ABSTRACT Background: Monodominant Eremanthus erythropappus forests are dispersed in neotropical montane regions of southeastern and northeastern Brazil, forming ecotonal areas among other high altitude phytophysiognomies, with no information from their fauna communities and how these communities vary between phytophysiognomies adjacent. We examined the bird community of three preserved and three managed E. erythropappus forests, and compared them two other coexisting phytophysiognomies (cloud forests and montane fields), being three samples of each, in an ecotonal region between two biodiversity hotspot domains (Cerrado and Atlantic Forest), in southeastern Brazil (1300 to 1570m high). Results: The bird community of the natural E. erythropappus forests was shared with other vegetation, while the managed E. erythropappus forests presented the lowest species richness. However, even though managed E. erythropappus forests has almost no exclusive elements, their community caused a balanced variation (a set of very similar species, only changing the representativeness), suggesting that the abundance of the registered species varies along these phytophysiognomies. Conclusion: The species associated with the natural E. erythropappus forests represented 50% of the total species, in contrast to the remaining 50% associated with the areas of cloud forests and montane fields, and their sharing behaves as an ecotonal community, since its community coincides with elements which are also present in the avifauna of the other two sampled phytophysiognomies. The composition of the avifauna from managed E. erythropappus forests was more similar to the community registered in the montane fields.

Abstract Currently, protected areas around the world have a demand for volunteer work. At the same time, people in several countries that house protected areas seek out these spaces to serve as volunteers. This process occurs in a scenario strongly influenced by the neoliberal economy, which is marked by cuts in environmental management budgets and increased protected areas visitation. Based on this context, the objective was to analyze the role of volunteer work in protected areas in the context of neoliberal paradigm predominance. For this purpose, it was established a current overview of volunteer activity through a case study in Brazil by collecting information from volunteers and managers, heads or managers of protected areas receptive to volunteer work in interviews using structured questionnaires. It was found that Parques Nacionais are the categories with the greatest demand for volunteer work. It was also found the most part of volunteers is between 20 and 30 years old, and their education level is higher education in undergraduate courses related to biological sciences. It was identified significant differences between the perceptions of managers and volunteers about volunteer work objectives. However, both groups indicated that “Environmental education/environmental interaction and interpretation” and “Support for visitation” are the most frequently performed activities, and the main form of support and trade-off for volunteer work is the offering of certificates. Thus, volunteer work seeks to contribute to the protected areas objectives by supporting the management of these areas during public use activities. However, in the current scenario, this work is palliative in the face of the impacts of the dismantling of environmental policy that affects most countries that have Protected areas and have surrendered to neoliberal conservation.

Abstract This article aims at reflecting upon the relationship between foreign policy and national development strategies within the context of neoliberal economic globalization. We will seek to understand the relationship between the internationalization of the Colombian armed social conflict, external conditionalities, and the established development project. It is concluded that the so-called Plan Colombia, under US financial and military assistance, provided the conditions for a neoliberal development model supported by a project for the militarization of society which successive governments continued. Finally, we will reflect on the intrinsic relationship between neoliberalism and militarism, and its implications for an inclusive and sustainable peace project.

Resumo No presente artigo, propõe-se uma reflexão acerca da relação entre política externa e estratégias de desenvolvimento nacional no contexto de globalização econômica neoliberal. Buscar-se-á compreender a relação entre a internacionalização do conflito social armado colombiano, as condicionalidades externas e o projeto de desenvolvimento estabelecido. Conclui-se que o Plano Colômbia, sob assistência financeira e militar norte-americana, condicionou um modelo de desenvolvimento neoliberal respaldado por um projeto de militarização da sociedade ao qual os sucessivos governos deram continuidade. Por fim, reflete-se, ainda, acerca da relação intrínseca entre neoliberalismo e militarismo e suas implicações para um projeto de paz inclusivo e sustentável.

Resumen Este artículo propone una reflexión sobre la relación entre la política exterior y las estrategias de desarrollo nacional en el contexto de la globalización económica neoliberal. Se buscará comprender la relación entre la internacionalización del conflicto social armado colombiano, las condicionalidades externas y el proyecto de desarrollo establecido. Se concluye que el Plan Colombia, bajo la asistencia financiera y militar de los Estados Unidos, condicionó un modelo de desarrollo neoliberal respaldado por un proyecto de militarización de la sociedad que los sucesivos gobiernos dieron continuidad. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre la relación intrínseca entre el neoliberalismo y el militarismo, y sus implicaciones para un proyecto de paz inclusivo y sostenible.

BACKGROUND Toxoplasma gondii causes toxoplasmosis and is controlled by activated macrophages. However, infection of macrophages by tachyzoites induces TGF-β signaling (TGF-s) inhibiting nitric oxide (NO) production. NO inhibition may be a general escape mechanism of distinct T. gondii strains. OBJECTIVES To evaluate in activated macrophages the capacity of T. gondii strains of different virulence and genetics (RH, type I; ME-49, type II; VEG, type III; P-Br, recombinant) to evade the NO microbicidal defense system and determine LC3 loading to the parasitophorous vacuole. METHODS Activated peritoneal macrophages were infected with the different T. gondii strains, NO-production was evaluated by the Griess reagent, and inducible nitric oxide synthase expression, TGF-s, and LC3 localisation assayed by immunofluorescence. FINDINGS Only RH persisted in macrophages, while VEG was more resistant than P-Br and ME-49. All strains induced TGF-s, degradation of inducible nitric oxide synthase, and NO-production inhibition from 2 to 24 h of infection, but only RH sustained these alterations for 48 h. By 24 h of infection, TGF-s lowered in macrophages infected by ME-49, and P-Br, and NO-production recovered, while VEG sustained TGF-s and NO-production inhibition longer. LC3 loading to parasitophorous vacuole was strain-dependent: higher for ME-49, P-Br and VEG, lower for RH. All strains inhibited NO-production, but only RH sustained this effect probably because it persisted in macrophages due to additional evasive mechanisms as lower LC3 loading to parasitophorous vacuole. MAIN CONCLUSIONS These results support that T. gondii can escape the NO microbicidal defense system at the initial phase of the infection, but only the virulent strain sustain this evasion mechanism.

Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a variabilidade genética de Araucaria cunninghamii, em teste de procedência, e estimar ganhos genéticos para a produção de sua madeira, com base em diferentes intensidades de seleção. O experimento foi estabelecido em Luís Antônio, no estado de São Paulo, Brasil, com sementes de polinização aberta coletadas em Queensland, Austrália. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso, com seis repetições e quatro plantas por parcela. O diâmetro à altura do peito (DBH), a forma do fuste e a sobrevivência foram medidos 29 anos após o plantio. Diferenças significativas foram detectadas entre as procedências. O coeficiente de variação genotípica foi alto (60%) para DBH. Os valores médios de DBH e forma do fuste foram de 23,21 cm e 4,50, respectivamente. As procedências Langkelly Creek, Brooweena L.A., Yarraman e St. Agnes apresentaram melhor desempenho em DBH, e Imbil Seed Orchard, Brooweena L.A., St. Agnes, St. John e Yarraman, em forma do fuste. Os ganhos estimados com a seleção variaram de 0,5 a 24,8%, para DBH, e de 0,9 a 3,5%, para forma do fuste.

Abstract: The objective of this work was to assess the genetic variability of Araucaria cunninghamii in a provenance test and to estimate the genetic gains in its wood production, based on different selection intensities. The trial was established in Luís Antônio, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, using open-pollinated seed from Queensland, Australia. The experimental design used was a randomized complete block with six replicates, and four plants per plot. Diameter at breast height (DBH), stem form, and survival were measured at 29 years after planting. Significant differences were detected among provenances. The coefficient of genotypic variation between provenances was high (60%) for DBH and stem form. The mean values for DBH and stem form were 23.21 cm and 4.50, respectively. The provenances Langkelly Creek, Brooweena L.A., Yarraman, and St. Agnes showed the best performance for DBH, and Imbil Seed Orchard, Brooweena L.A, St. Agnes, St. John, and Yarraman, for stem form. Genetic gains ranged from 0.5 to 24.8% for DBH, and from 0.9 to 3.5% for stem form.

Abstract Cordia trichotoma is a Brazilian species that has been studied for different forest systems. However, genetic breeding programs could highly improve species use. To obtain a better yield, it is essential to identify the species genotypes with superior performance. Thus, the work objective of this work was to estimate genetic divergence in two C. trichotoma progenies tests based on phenotypic traits. The experimental design adopted was the randomized blocks, one plant per plot, using 40 (area one) and 34 (area two) repetitions, using 3.0 m × 3.0 m spacing. The evaluated traits were diameter at 1.30 m above the soil (DBH-cm), total height (HT-m), collar diameter at 30 cm above the ground (DC-cm), and height of the first whorl (HFW-cm). The estimate of genetic divergence and the Tocher clustering method was performed using the REML / BLUP method. The genetic distances between the progenies in area 1 were 2.13 and 47.74 (17 and 15). In area two the genetic distances between the progenies were 3.64 (9 and 15) and 48.28 (12 and 7). The progenies formed 10 and 4 distinct groups, respectively, in area 1 and area 2). The traits that most contributed to genetic divergence were DBH-2016 (14.65%) in area one, and HT-2014 (14.32%) in area two. In sumary, the C. trichotoma progenies show high genetic divergence. Regarding breeding programs, it is recommended to cross progenies from the most divergent groups to heighten the genetic gain through the selection of more productive genotypes.

Resumen Cordia trichotoma es una especie nativa que está siendo evaluada para diferentes sistemas forestales. El hecho de que los individuos empleados en las plantaciones posean algún grado de mejoramiento genético tiene muchas ventajas; para lograr este mejoramiento es fundamental la obtención de genotipos superiores, a fin de obtener un mejor rendimiento del producto final. El objetivo del presente estudio fue estimar la divergencia genética de progenies de C. trichotoma en dos diferentes condiciones de textura de suelo, por medio de caracteres fenotípicos. El diseño experimental fue bloques completos al azar, un árbol por parcela con 40 (área 1) y 34 (área 2) repeticiones, con espaciamiento de 3,0 m × 3,0 m. Los caracteres evaluados fueron: diámetro a altura del pecho, altura total de plantas, diámetro de cuello y altura del primer verticilo. Para estimar la divergencia genética y el agrupamiento de Tocher fue utilizado el método REML/BLUP. Las distancias entre las progenies en el área 1 fueron de 2,13 y 47,74 (17 y 15), en el área 2 las distancias entre las progenies fueron de 3,64 (9 y 15) y 48,28 (12 y 7). Las progenies formaron diez y cuatro grupos distintos (área 1 y área 2). Los caracteres que más contribuyeron para divergencia genética fueron diámetro a la altura del pecho-2016 (14,65%) área 1, y altura total de plantas-2014 (14,32%) área 2. Las progenies de C. trichotoma presentaron alta divergencia genética. En programas de mejoramiento, se recomienda el cruzamiento entre progenies de los grupos más divergentes para priorizar la ganancia con selección de los genotipos más productivos.

Resumo O esporte tem sido objeto de análise em diversas áreas do conhecimento no Brasil. Uma aproximação a partir das Ciências Sociais e Humanas tem possibilitado a exploração de elementos interpretativos singulares que ampliam a compreensão desse complexo fenômeno. Este texto tem como objetivo mapear estudos que versam sobre a Sociologia do Esporte nos programas de pós-graduação brasileiros entre 2011 e 2018, visando contribuir com a sistematização da produção científica desse subcampo. Após levantamento de dissertações e teses, descrevemos as principais características dessas produções, classificando-as em categorias sociológicas para análise do campo esportivo, sendo o futebol hegemonicamente a modalidade mais explorada por pesquisadores de diversas áreas.

Abstract Sports has been the object of analysis in several areas of knowledge in Brazil. An approach based on social and human sciences has enabled different perspectives, exploring unique interpretative elements that broaden the understanding of this complex phenomenon. This text aims to map studies dealing with the Sociology of Sport in Brazilian graduate programs between 2011 and 2018, aiming to contribute to the systematization of the scientific production of this subfield. After the data collection of dissertations and thesis, we described the main characteristics of these productions, classifying them into sociological categories for analysis of the sports field, with football being the most hegemonically explored modality by researchers from different areas.

Resumen El deporte ha sido objeto de análisis en diversas áreas del conocimiento en Brasil. Una aproximación a partir de las ciencias sociales y humanas ha posibilitado explorar elementos interpretativos singulares que amplían la comprensión de este complejo fenómeno. Este texto tiene como objetivo mapear estudios que abordan la Sociología del Deporte en los programas de posgrado brasileños entre 2011 y 2018, buscando contribuir con la sistematización de la producción científica de ese subcampo. Después de revisar disertaciones y tesis, describimos las principales características de estas producciones, clasificándolas en categorías sociológicas para analizar el campo deportivo, siendo el fútbol la modalidad más explorada por investigadores de diferentes áreas.

COVID-19 pandemic implied new biosafety recommendations to avoid dissemination of SARS-CoV-2 virus within healthcare centers. Changes on recommended personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination protocols and organization of patient demand resulted may result in cost variation. Based on this, the present study aimed to evaluate the economic impact of new biosafety recommendations for oral healthcare assistance during COVID-19. An Activity Based Costing evaluation was used to calculate the acquisition of PPE and decontamination solutions recommended for dental practice during COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. PPE and decontamination solutions quantity and frequency of use were based on the newly COVID-19 recommendations. Costs (in Brazilian Real – R$) for biosafety recommendations pre- and post-COVID-19 were outlined and calculated for each patient, service shift and year. A sensitivity analysis considered 20% to 50% variation of direct costs. Previously to COVID-19 pandemic, direct costs of biosafety recommendations consisted of R$0.84 per patient, R$6.69 per service shift and R$3,413.94 per year. Post-COVID-19 costs of biosafety recommendations resulted in R$16.01 per patient, R$128.07 per service shift, and R$32,657.96 per year. Yearly costs can vary between R$26,126.37 and R$39,189.56. The annual budget increase necessary to adopt post-COVID biosafety recommendations was R$29,244.02. Newly biosafety recommendations increased significantly the costs of oral healthcare assistance during COVID-19 pandemic. Decision making of healthcare managers must consider rational and equity allocation of financial resources.

A pandemia da COVID-19 implicou novas recomendações de biossegurança para evitar a disseminação do vírus SARS-CoV-2 nos centros de saúde. Alterações nos equipamentos de proteção individual (EPI) recomendados, protocolos de descontaminação e organização da demanda de pacientes resultaram em variações de custos. Com base nisso, o presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o impacto econômico de novas recomendações de biossegurança para assistência à saúde bucal durante a COVID-19. Uma avaliação do Custeio Baseado em Atividade foi usada para calcular a aquisição de EPI e soluções de descontaminação recomendadas para a prática odontológica durante a pandemia da COVID-19 no Brasil. A quantidade e a frequência de uso de EPI e das soluções de descontaminação foram baseadas nas novas recomendações da COVID-19. Os custos (em Reais Brasileiros – R$) das recomendações de biossegurança pré- e pós-COVID-19 foram delineados e calculados para cada paciente, turno de serviço e ano. Uma análise de sensibilidade considerou uma variação de 20% a 50% dos custos diretos. Anteriormente à pandemia da COVID-19, os custos diretos das recomendações de biossegurança consistiam em R$0,84 por paciente, R$6,69 por turno de serviço e R$3.413,94 por ano. Os custos pós-COVID-19 das recomendações de biossegurança resultaram em R$16,01 por paciente, R$128,07 por turno de serviço e R$32.657,96 por ano. Os custos anuais podem variar entre R$26.126,37 e R$39.189,56. O aumento do orçamento anual necessário para adotar as recomendações de biossegurança pós-COVID foi de R$29.244,02. As novas recomendações de biossegurança aumentaram significativamente os custos da assistência à saúde bucal durante a pandemia da COVID-19. A tomada de decisão dos gerentes de saúde deve considerar a alocação racional e equitativa dos recursos financeiros.

RESUMO O objetivo do estudo foi investigar o processo de mobilização da teoria sociológica de Pierre Bourdieu no campo da Educação Física no Brasil a partir da produção divulgada em oito periódicos da área. Os dados revelam que 54% dessas publicações utiliza o referencial para reforçar ou refutar argumentos, ao passo que 22% dos textos não tem nenhuma associação rigorosa com a teoria e 24% possui uma relação sistemática com os conceitos subjacentes a esse modelo teórico. Conclui-se que os usos da teoria de Bourdieu ainda estão abertos no campo, sendo necessário um investimento mais sistemático nesse referencial.

ABSTRACT The aim of the study was to investigate the process of mobilization of the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu in the field of Physical Education in Brazil from the production published in eight periodicals of the field. The data show that 54% of these publications use the referential to reinforce or refute arguments, while 22% of the texts have no strict association with the theory and 24% have a systematic relationship with the concepts underlying this theoretical model. It is concluded that the uses of Bourdieu’s theory are still open in the area, requiring a more systematic investment in this referential.

RESUMEN El objetivo del estudio fue investigar el proceso de movilización de la teoría sociológica de Pierre Bourdieu en el campo de la Educación Física en Brasil a partir de la producción divulgada en ocho periódicos del área. Los datos revelan que el 54% de esas publicaciones utiliza el referencial para reforzar o refutar argumentos, mientras que el 22% de los textos no tiene ninguna asociación rigurosa con la teoría y el 24% tiene una relación sistemática con los conceptos subyacentes a ese modelo teórico. Se concluye que los usos de la teoría de Bourdieu todavía están abiertos en el área, lo que requiere una inversión más sistemática en este referencial.
