Abstract The present work aims to expand the discussions about infocommunication skills, through reflections that seek to denude intrinsic stigmas in their different speeches. It is intended, therefore, to make an effort to make a logical transposition of its constitutive attributes — information, communication and operational skills — beyond the instrumental perspective. To this end, the methodological theoretical-reflexive path was anchored in dialogic. Thus, a reflection was made on the possibilities of proceeding with a conceptual broadening of the theme, taking care not to eliminate the discursive contradictions involved in the ongoing process. It is concluded that the expression “skill”, considering its provocative aspect, which leads us to an immediate antithesis of disqualification and submission; on the other hand, it forces reflection on the logical openings provided by its tensions, being, therefore, adequate and sufficient for strengthening an epistemic speech referring to infocommunication in the field of Information Science.

Resumo O presente trabalho objetiva ampliar as discussões sobre as Competências Infocomunicacionais, por meio de reflexões que buscam desnudar estigmas intrínsecos em seus distintos discursos. Pretende-se, por conseguinte, empreender um esforço para se fazer uma transposição lógica dos seus atributos constitutivos — competência em informação, em comunicação e habilidades operacionais —, para além da perspectiva instrumental. Com esse fim, o caminho metodológico, teórico-reflexivo, foi ancorado na dialógica. Destarte, refletiu-se sobre possibilidades de se proceder um alargamento conceitual acerca do tema, tomando-se o cuidado em não se eliminar as contradições discursivas envolvidas no processo em curso. Concluiu-se, portanto, que a expressão “competência”, considerando o seu aspecto provocador, que remete a uma imediata antítese da desqualificação e submissão, por outro lado, obriga à reflexão sobre as aberturas lógicas propiciadas por suas tensões, sendo, portanto, adequada e suficiente para o fortalecimento de um discurso epistêmico referente à infocomunicação no âmbito da Ciência da Informação.

RESUMO As discussões sobre informação e comunicação continuam provocando inquietações no âmbito da Ciência da Informação (CI), especialmente em ambiente de hiperinformação. A partir deste contexto é que se pretende analisar as competências Infocomunicacionais (Competências InfoCom) enquanto uma competência da própria CI, buscando, objetivamente, encontrar elementos que contribuam para a construção de seu estatuto. O artigo explora teoricamente a possível incompletude epistemológica da CI, analisando alguns caminhos percorridos pela Ciência. A partir de um macro recorte histórico e filosófico que sustenta este contexto, busca-se compreender os fenômenos que envolvem a comunicação e a informação, de forma a identificar os principais discursos epistêmicos desta trajetória, para, assim,olhar possíveis caminhos que viabilizem o nosso objetivo.As principais conclusões, além de evidenciarem o caráter virtuoso da referida incompletude, que abrem portas para a complexidade e a transdisciplinaridade, apontam também que as competências InfoCom, a partir de uma ressignificação do próprio vocábulo “competência”, permitem a crítica e a autocrítica da informação e da comunicação. Para a construção de um discurso epistêmico neste lugar, faz-se necessário pensá-las a partir da dupla complexidade, transcendendo as concepções contidas na lógica indutiva e/ou dedutiva.

ABSTRACT Discussions about information and communication continue to cause uneasiness in the field of Information Science (IS), especially in a hyper information environment. From this context, it is intended to analyze the Info-communication competencies (InfoCom competencies) as a competence of the IS itself, seeking, objectively, to find elements that contribute to the construction of its constitution. The article theoretically explores the possible epistemological incompleteness of IS, analyzing some paths taken by science. From a historical and philosophical macro perspective that sustains this context, we seek to understand the phenomena that involve communication and information, in order to identify the main epistemic discourses of this trajectory, in order to look at possible paths that enable our objective. The main conclusions, besides evidencing the virtuous character of it incompleteness, which open doors to complexity and transdisciplinary, also point out that infocom competencies, based on a resignification of the word "competence" itself, allow criticism and self-criticism of information and communication. For the construction of an epistemic discourse in this place, it is necessary to think them from the double complexity, transcending the conceptions contained in inductive and/or deductive logic.

CONTEXTO E OBJETIVO: Registros de glomerulopatias estão aumentando em todo o mundo. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar as características clínicas e a resposta do tratamento de pacientes com glomerulopatias acompanhados em um hospital terciário no Brasil. TIPO DE ESTUDO E LOCAL: Estudo transversal analítico. Hospital público terciário. MÉTODOS: O estudo incluiu pacientes com glomerulopatias acompanhados em um hospital terciário de Fortaleza, Ceará, Brasil. Foi realizado registro dos dados clínicos e laboratoriais para cada paciente. A resposta ao tratamento específico foi avaliada após 3, 6 e 12 meses. RESULTADOS: Foram incluídos 168 pacientes, com média de idade de 37 ± 14 anos. A glomerulopatia mais prevalente foi a glomerulosclerose segmentar e focal GESF] (19,6%), seguida pela doença de lesão mínima DLM] (17,9%), nefropatia membranosa NM] (16,7%) e nefrite lúpica NL] (11,9%). As principais manifestações clínicas foram proteinúria nefrótica (67,3%) e insuficiência renal (17,9%). A média dos valores de proteinúria diminuiu após o início do tratamento. Com relação à proteinúria de 24 horas na admissão, não houve diferença significativa entre os pacientes com boa resposta ao tratamento e aqueles sem resposta (7.448 ± 5.056 versus 6.448 ± 4.251 mg/24 h, P = 0,29). A doença com maior índice de remissão foi a DLM (92%). A ausência de fibrose intersticial apresentou forte correlação com a remissão (remissão em pacientes sem fibrose = 83,4% versus 16,3% naqueles com fibrose, P = 0,001). CONCLUSÕES: O presente estudo encontrou como glomerulopatia mais frequente a GESF, seguida da DLM, NM e NL. A presença de fibrose intersticial foi um preditor de pobre resposta terapêutica.

CONTEXT AND OBJECTIVE: Glomerular disease registries are increasing all around the world. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical characteristics and treatment response among patients with glomerular diseases followed up in a tertiary hospital in Brazil. DESIGN AND SETTING: Analytical cross-sectional study; tertiary-level public hospital. METHODS: This study included patients with glomerular diseases followed up at a tertiary hospital in Fortaleza, northeastern Brazil. Clinical and laboratory data on each patient were registered. The response to specific treatment was evaluated after 3, 6 and 12 months. RESULTS: The study included 168 patients of mean age 37 ± 14 years. The most prevalent glomerular diseases were focal segmental glomerulosclerosis FSGS] (19.6%), minimal change disease MCD] (17.9%), membranous nephropathy MN] (16.7%) and lupus nephritis LN] (11.9%). The main clinical presentations were nephrotic proteinuria (67.3%) and renal insufficiency (17.9%). The mean proteinuria value decreased after the treatment began. Regarding 24-hour proteinuria on admission, there was no significant difference between patients with a good response and those with no response (7,448 ± 5,056 versus 6,448 ± 4,251 mg/24 h, P = 0.29). The glomerular disease with the highest remission rate was MCD (92%). Absence of interstitial fibrosis presented a strong correlation with remission (remission in patients without fibrosis = 83.4% versus 16.3% in those with fibrosis, P = 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: The present study found that the most frequent glomerular disease was FSGS, followed by MCD, MN and LN. The presence of interstitial fibrosis was a predictor of poor therapeutic response.

Os objetivos deste trabalho consistiram em obter estimativas de coeficientes de correlação fenotípicos, genotípicos e residuais, e avaliar os desdobramentos das correlações genotípicas em efeitos diretos e indiretos (análise de trilha) das variáveis altura média das plantas, diâmetro médio do colmo e número de perfilhos por metro linear (variáveis independentes explicativas) na produção de matéria seca (variável dependente principal) de clones de capim-elefante em dois cortes realizados nas condições edafoclimáticas do norte do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Houve grande diferença nas estimativas obtidas nos dois cortes, entretanto o estudo permitiu concluir que a altura das plantas no corte exerce influência na produção de matéria seca principalmente nas situações de clones de alta capacidade de perfilhamento. As características número de perfilhos por metro linear e diâmetro de perfilhos foram capazes de explicar melhor o potencial de produção de matéria seca, atuando, respectivamente, de forma direta e inversamente proporcionais sobre a variável básica, alternando-se em função das condições ambientais ocorridas durante o crescimento.

The main goals of this work was to obtain estimates of phenotype, genotype and residual correlation coefficients and display genotype correlations in direct and indirect effects (path analysis) of height, diameter of stem at the base and number of tillers per meter (explanatory independent variables) on dry matter production (basic dependent variable) of elephantgrass clones in two harvest periods at conditions of northern Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Great differences among estimates in two harvest periods were observed, however it could be concluded that height of plants at cutting influenced dry matter production mainly in conditions of high tillering capable clones. Number of tillers per meter and diameter of stem explained better dry matter production potential, acting, respectively, in an direct and inverse way, alternating according to environmental conditions during growth.

Quatorze clones e três cultivares de capim-elefante foram avaliados no delineamento em blocos ao acaso, com quatro repetições. Objetivou-se estimar parâmetros de estabilidade pelas metodologias de Plaisted & Peterson (1959), Lin & Binns (1988) e Kang (1988), com base na produção de matéria seca (MS), em kg/ha.corte, num total de 12 cortes (medidas repetidas no tempo como ambientes). O clone CNPGL 91 F11-2 e a cultivar Pioneiro apresentaram alta estabilidade e produtividade pelos métodos utilizados, destacando-se como promissores para as condições de Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ.

Fourteen clones and three cultivars of elephant grass were evaluated in a randomized block experimental design with four repetitions. The objective of this study was to estimate stability parameters related to dry matter (DM) production in kg/ha.cut, based in methodologies of Plaisted & Peterson (1959), Lin & Binns (1988) and Kang (1988), resulted of twelve cuts (as environments). The clone CNPGL 91 F11-2 and Pioneiro cultivar presented high stability and production based in these methodologies, consisting in satisfactory genetic materials adapted to Campos dos Goytacazes, RJ conditions.
